What is a Debit Card and what is a Prepaid Credit Card?





Basically a debit card is just an electronic wallet.



Put some money on it and you can use it to pay or withdraw money. Just a wallet the size of a credit card.



A major disadvantage is that You don't have the benefits of a credit card. You can only pay with it where it is accepted: Countries, stores, gas stations etc. No car rentals, Hotel bookings etc. even if you have a lot money on it and withdraw money from an ATM.
